If you are interested in reading news articles published in newspapers worldwide about our members and clubs and the amazing things they are doing, setting up a Google Alert is the thing to do! This is a FREE service provided by Google and takes just minutes to launch. (Contact staff@quota.org if you need assistance.) Once activated, into your inbox will come notifications of Quota news stories at the frequency you prefer. Google Alerts will bring Quota INTERNATIONAL into your home, providing great ideas for new projects. If you go one step further and reach out to the people and clubs highlighted, to send congratulations or ask for “how-to” details on their newsworthy project, you might even make new friends in another Quota community or country! Winning Clubs Reap Rewards
President Emilie Simon is pleased to announce the winners of the 2018-2019 Quota Club Rewards Program, which ended June 30. This program honors clubs which met criteria in multiple areas of club operations: membership, meeting and program participation, and donations. This year three clubs met the challenge, and congratulations go to:
Gold Star Award - US$500 Club Reward – QI of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA
Silver Star Award - US$200 Club Reward – QI of West Monroe, Louisiana, USA
Bronze Star Award - US$100 Club Reward – QI of Thuringowa, Queensland, Australia
Thank You….
…for reporting LOST club members – those who have resigned or passed away – and new members on a monthly basis. This enables our projections of membership and associated finances to be as accurate as possible, and makes work much less time-consuming for our hard-working office staff.
Remembering Members Who Have Passed
Quota International’s Memorial Wall honors members who have passed away. We welcome your club’s touching tribute to Quotarians you wish to honor internationally. If you would like to submit a tribute, please complete our online Memorial Wall form and upload your favorite photograph. We also welcome tributes and photographs on our Quota International Facebook Page.
